Peace of Vereeniging 31 May 1902 |
Peace is declared at Vereeniging and the war comes to an end. Most of the Australian troops were home by August 1902. An Australian Contingent was sent from Australia, made up of selections of men from all of the old colonies, to attend the Coronation of Edward VII in August 1902.
