Details of service in war: He enlisted in Brisbane Qld on 6 January 1902 - service was from Brisbane by rail (26 January 1902) to Sydney then by ship on 18 February 1902 to South Africa. Served March-May 1902 on Natal border and west Transvaal.
Service and life after the Boer War: Embarked Durban on 11 July 1902 arrived Albany WA 30 July and returned Brisbane on 13 August. The Unit was disbanded on 19 August 1902. No further details known.

Relationship to Ancestor: Great Uncle (my Grandfather's (Valentine) eldest brother)I have recently retired from the NT Police (33.5yrs). My family has a large war service history besides TCW Casey, my Grandfather Valentine Casey was in WWI along with his brothers Charles Vincent Casey, Leo George Casey, Clifford Henry Casey. My father Raymond Norman Casey (Rat) WWII along with cousins Kenneth Thomas Casey and Stanley Desmond Casey (both RAAF) and I served with Armoured Corps (3 Cav Regt) in Vietnam.
