Memorial details: Thomas' family are currently working on, somehow, getting a memorial plate made for his unmarked grave at Sandgate Cemetery, NSW. They are lucky to have some help from the Sandgate Cemetery researcher. The local Mens shed have made a white wooden cross for him in the meantime.
Decorations: DCM Elands River Post, Queen's South Afrca Medal with Rhodesia, Transvaal and South Africa 1902 clasps. 1914/15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal.

Service and life after the Boer War: Coal Miner joined the AIF 13/10/1914 no 171, 7th light Horse, then joined the engineers.
