Service and life after the Boer War: Joined the NSW Police Force 12 August 1908, promoted Constable 1st class 1 January 1922. Served at Bombala, Araluen, Queanbeyan, Braidwood and Goulburn retiring in 1941. It is believed that he may have continued service in the Militia reaching the rank of WO1.
