Details of service in war: He qualified for the QSA medal with clasps Cape Colony, Rhodesia, OFS and Transvaal and his KSA with 2 date clasps was issued from the PLH roll. His medals were sent to the Commander, CMF, Victoria on September 28 1906.

Service and life after the Boer War: Returned to Australia after discharge. No information is available as to activities on return other than his Fathers registration of his death 07/08/1914 in the Family bible. The location of his death and burial plot is unknown. The place recorded in the Family Bible is illegible. (advice on this place would be appreciated. LIKE WOW.)
