Personal Characteristics: 1.83 m tall. Blue eyes, hair colour brown in civilian life he was a drover. His fathers name was Thomas Foran and they both come from Bundarra. This place is near the area of Lismore NSW where some of my relatives live to-day

Details of service in war: His unit arrived in South Africa after the war ended. I do not know how I am related, but the name (George Stanley Foran) has been handed over the years to Foran Familys My fathers name was George Stanley and he at one stage was a drover. My Grand uncle named George Stanley Foran died at the age of 29 years he is buruied at Waverly Cemetary NSW.

Service and life after the Boer War: Unknown at this stage I am still working on my family tree. I believe this man is some kind of relation; but I do not know how at this stage until i do more research. I do have a copy of his Attestation his religion was C/of/E. When I get more information I will send it to you, I will be sending you a copy of his Attestation.
