Details of service in war: April 1901 - April 1902 in west then east Transvaal. Wounded 10 May 1901.
Service and life after the Boer War: Returned to Australia: 4 June 1902. Worked as a labourer. Enlisted in the AIF 18 January 1915, 13 Bn, 5th Reinforcements, service number 2021, served in France as a cook. Mum says he bought home what he called a 'dog biscuit' which was a standard issue to the troops, he framed it and had it on his wall. Rode in rodeos. Worked at timber cutting, blacksmithing, Frank married Annie Jane Organ in 1917 in Sydney, they had a son and a daughter. Descendants are all from Franks daughter, son killed aged 25 yrs in an accident.
